The bad news? The Lady Jets dropped both of their matches. The good news? At least the girls got to compete.

Tuesday’s triangular came on the heels of a scheduling snafu just one day earlier, when the AMHS squad traveled to Melvern, only to find that a scheduled triangular at Marais Des Cygnes Valley had been cancelled.

The Lady Jets did get to take the court on Tuesday, but were defeated 25-12, 25-7 by Central Heights and also dropped a much closer decision to Chetopa, 25-18, 25-18.

“We had some good digs today, but we still came up short,” said AMHS head coach Sharee Bertrand. “We struggled as a whole team tonight with serving the ball and calling the ball.”

No individual stats were available.

This Saturday, Sept. 19, the AMHS squad (0-13) will host a quadrangular against schools from Liberty Homeschool Alliance, CCC, and Elk Valley. First serve is slated for 9 a.m.
