Both forms need to be filled out completely. Please check all pages for required signatures. Forms must be signed by a doctor, the guardian and the student. (all have places to sign) Students must have a physical form on file with the Activities Director before they can practice or compete in any athletic activities. Bring this form to enrollment in August or the first day of practice. If you have questions, please email jalmond@usd387.org
Summer weights is underway. Mon-Thurs. Grades 9-12 girls & boys meet in the weight room at the ms/hs, 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM .

Summer Academy will begin Monday, June 6, 2022, from 7:30 AM-12:30 PM.
Breakfast and lunch will be served.
Here is the transportation schedule:
The bus will leave the Altoona City Park at 7:15 AM.
The bus will pick-up in Buffalo at the First United Methodist at 7:35 AM.
A van will pick up at Tulakes at 7:15 AM.
After Summer Academy, the bus will drop off in Buffalo at approximately 12:40 PM
The bus will drop off in Altoona at approximately 1:00 PM.
Van drop off at Tulakes at approximately 12:45 PM
Driver's Education Announcement:
Drivers Education will begin Tuesday May 31, 2022. Transportation will leave the ms/hs at 7:20 AM. Transportation will pick up in Altoona at the park at 7:40. After class, transportation will leave Fredonia High School at 11:05 AM. Drop off in Altoona at the park at 11:20 and at the ms/hs at 11:35.

If your student is going to take drivers education, we need an email address for the parent/guardian to send documents that need to be filled out before the classes begin. Please email jalmond@usd387.org. Note: our school pays $50 for each student. The students fee for drivers ed is just $25.00.

Congratulations to Mrs. Caylor! She received the KAT-FACS award for Young Teacher of the Year, which recognizes teachers who are in their 6th-10th year of teaching and provide outstanding career and technical education programs for youth in their respective fields and communities. Recipients of this award must have made significant contributions toward innovative, unique, and novel programs that are serving to improve and promote career and technical education. Way to go Mrs. Caylor!

Elementary students received end of the year awards yesterday!
Vietnam vet Gerald Christian presented superintendent Mike Kastle with a hand made flag as a gift of appreciation for his work with the Parsons Honor Flight and all that he’s done for Altoona-Midway schools this past year. Gerald and Mike will be going on an Honor Flight trip to Washington D.C. later in May.

Elementary students enrolled in the arts and crafts portion of the after school program got to make some cool tie dyed towels with their names on them!
The AMMS League Track Meet scheduled for today has been postponed until Thursday, 3:00 PM, in Altamont.
